Escape Dance Academy’s
Elite Competition Team
The Elite Competition Team at Escape Dane Academy is the best of the best in the Youngstown area. Our dancers are true professionals, working at their craft. Our Elite Competition Team is for the dancer who is very dedicated, serious, and committed to training. This program is highly competitive and requires more hours and more commitment than the Prep team. This team competes in approximately five local competitions, as well as one out-of-state, National Competition in the summer. It is a wonderful investment for your child and the results are extraordinary! Choosing this accelerated program will put your dancer on the fast track to success! The Elite Team is an experience you won't want your child to miss out on!
Escape Dance Academy’s
Prep Competition Team
Our Prep Competition Team is for the dancer who has some dance experience and would like to take the next step in his/her dance career, or for the beginner! This team takes fewer classes than the Elite Team, competes at a lower level, and will not attend a National Dance Competition. The Prep Team attends three local competitions throughout the spring (Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Columbus, Youngstown, etc.) and performs those same routines at each competition as well as in recital. Each Prep Team dancer will also be required to attend one local dance convention (with the exception of our Pixies). The Prep Team is fun, exciting, and will let your child be a part of a close-knit TEAM! This is a WONDERFUL introduction to the competitive dance world and will prepare your dancer for the Elite Team!
